Lilacs & Champagne is a interest project begun in the early 2010s through Alex Hall and Emil Amos, founding members of Portland, Oregon ascertained instrumentalists Grails. Working primarily with an Akai MPC sampler, they forged their stable with a base of eclectic samples from off-kilter sources such as thrift lay by records and radio static.
